Being self taught artist has been a challenge. When first starting out in canine art my collies became my models along with many dog magazines, dog shows and books. The world of art has always been my first love. As a child I loved to draw so much that if I had a pencil in my hand I would draw on the walls of my bedroom, bathroom you name it! Of course my parents weren't happy about that.
